The details of Google Android’s latest mobile operating system version 2.2 are already making rounds of news among various public domains. Its official launch is likely to be, toward the end of this month. The version 2.2 is code-named as Froyo, from Frozen Yogurt. Android 2.2 is the latest iteration of Google's operating system, following Eclair (2.0/2.1), Donut (1.6), and Cupcake (1.5).
 

Google unveiled Froyo, at the Google I/O conference last week. Yet again Google has made a very bold claim that, the web browser featured on Froyo is the fastest mobile web browser in the world. Google highlighted the V8 Java Script Engine as the main reason for the significant boost in its speed.

Verizon Droid Incredible wasn't supposed to arrive until April 29th for customers who pre-orded but due to a glitch in VZ shipping system this made it possible for some customer to get their hands on the HTC Incredible almost an entire week before the set launch date. Verizonwireless since corrected the glitch and pre-orders will be shipped on the 29th of April. One customer who was able to get his hands on the Droid Incredible created a short clip.

The Archos 7 is in effect a scaled up version of the Archos 5, already on sale, which runs a custom UI and media enhancements on top of the Android OS. The company itself has now confirmed that it'll have at least two new devices on hand at CeBIT. Details on the two new devices are still being rumored around hower the company's German PR firm has reportedly said that Archos will debut two new "low-cost" Android tablets that are "specifically designed for use at home. One of those is rumored to be a new Archos 7 tablet, while the other remains a mystery. No words yet if the new devices will support 3G.

There isn't Flash support on the new Motorola Droid, so its supposed to have it sometime in 2010. if i get the phone now can i just get an update later to have flash?
